Memorial Day in Port A

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend in Port Aransas with Mimi and Grandad!
We stopped in Corpus for a trip to the Texas State Aquarium.  It is such a fun place!
The dolphins were really playful and kept coming up to the glass right in front of the kids.  So fun!

They have a perfect splash pad area for the kids.   It was a perfect day!

Then it was on to Port Aransas!
Waiting to see the fishing boats come in.  Cooper was very excited to see some sharks they caught on one of the deep sea fishing trips.
We got to see two alligators really close!
We also had a lot of fun playtime on the beach.  There was a lot of seaweed in the water, but the sand was so soft and great for playing!
Grandad got the kids ice cream from the ice cream truck.  They thought it was great!

 Watching the pelican

 Looking for dolphins with MiMi!
Grandad surprised the kids with a ride on the beach in this giant contraption.  Cooper thought it was so awesome! (I think Daddy and Grandad thought it was pretty great too.)  MiMi and I had fun driving behind and watching everyone's reactions when it drove by.

On the way out of town, we stopped to watch a sea turtle release.  It was so neat to see the rehabilitated turtles let back into the ocean.

 Such a great few days!
