14 Months Old

Hadley Claire is 14 months old!  She is growing up sooooo fast.  I love her sweet and vibrant personality. She is little Miss Independent!  She is not afraid of anything, and wants to do everything her brother does.  She still LOVES to dance.  She just can't hear music without stopping to do a little dance.  Love it!  She loves to laugh and play, but will not sit still long enough to read a book.  HA! Hadley loves the water and is having so much fun at the pool this summer, however she does think she can swim and gets very annoyed at my holding onto her.  Oh, and sitting in a float???? You can forget it. HA! She is just a ball of energy and so much fun!
Hadley has no problem communicating what she wants.  She has really started to say several words. "Bubba, PaPa, ball, cup, up, hat, eyes, hot, cheese, shoes, yes, duck" have all been added to her expressive vocabulary.  She can make the dog, duck, lion, pig sounds and point to her eyes, head, nose, mouth, tongue, teeth, hair, head, belly button, belly, and fingers.
She still loves her stroller and babies most of all.  She has recently discovered the greatness of dress up.  Daddy even bought her her first princess dress up set.  She puts on her dress, purse, and sunglasses, gets her stroller, and says, "Bye bye!"  HA!

These are some pics from her one year photo shoot.  It was at 6:30 in the morning and she was AWFUL!!!  She hated the tall grass, and I would have sworn she never smiled once.  But our awesome photographer did a great job, and they turned out really sweet! Here are a few of my favorites.

Cooper's Birthday Weekend

Last weekend we took a few days to do a little early birthday celebrating for our almost 4 year old.  Cooper chose to go to the Embassy Suites, Rainforest Café, and Sea World, so to San Antonio we went!  We had such a fun and fast weekend.

 Rainforest Café on the Riverwalk
Both kids loved every second of the Rainforest Café.  We thought the animal sounds and thunderstorm might scare Hadley, but we couldn't have been more wrong.

Next up, Sea World! It was a nice cloudy morning, and not crowded at all.  They couldn't wait to get out of the stroller! HA!  This picture cracks me up.

Watching the dolphins in the dolphin tank.  We were soooo close to getting to pet one, but they never would come quite close enough.

 Cooper loved these alligators.

 Getting sleepy....
Cooper was excited to meet Franklin, but didn't get too close.  HA!
 Ready for Shamu!
This is about how Hadley was during most of the shows.  All.Over.The.Place.
We spend most of the time at the back dancing. (which was fine by me)

This was our favorite show Azul!  Hadley slept through the whole thing.
The Waterski show!  Cooper thought this was very cool!

The afternoon was a little more crowded and hot.  It was a good time for the splash park!  Cooper and Hadley both loved this!

We ended the day with some rides.  Cooper rode his first roller coaster and loved every minute of it.  Maybe I will have Six Flags partner after all!

Such a precious weekend with our family.

Swimming Lessons

Cooper took swimming lessons at Pebble Creek for the past two weeks.  He went Tues.-Friday for thirty minutes each day.  He did a great job working on going under water!  He is not swimming yet, but he did make some progress and have a lot of fun!
Ready for the first day!
Cooper and his sweet friend, Willa

                                                          Jumping into the deep end!
And of course we had to celebrate with Spoons!
