Family, Fish, and Fun!

This weekend, we headed to Brownwood to enjoy a fish fry with Chad's family. We got together with his aunt, uncle, and cousins in honor of Chad's grandmother, Nana, who would have been 92 this weekend. We had such a fun day of catching up, enjoying the weather, and eating a fried fish feast (Nana's favorite). Cooper was in heaven with all the outdoor fun! Who would've guessed it was January?

Cooper loved playing on this awesome swingset!

MiMi and Madie taking a break from all the fun!

What a special day in honor of a very special lady!

We also had a short stay in Abilene where Cooper managed to squeeze in a visit to Chuck E. Cheese with Grandmommy and PaPa (While mommy and daddy got to have a night out! Whoohoo!). He even had a little time to enjoy some patio and playtime with PaPa.

Ft.Worth Stock Show 2011

This weekend we took Cooper back to visit the Ft.Worth Stock Show. This year we also introduced him to the rodeo! We had such a fun time. Cooper LOVED the animals, especially the llamas! He also thought it was very funny that the sheep were getting a haircut and the cows were getting their hair combed. We even got to see a horse taking a shower!

Ready for the rodeo! Cooper did really well at the rodeo, but it was a little slow paced for this active toddler.

Next up, the petting zoo! This little white goat kept nudging Cooper with it's head. Cooper wasn't scared a bit. He just giggled and giggled.

Cooper and Daddy driving the tractor. (He threw a fit when he had to get off of here)

At the Children's Barnyard

We got to see LOTS and LOTS of cows.

Cooper got to take home his very own tractor toy/book!

Next year maybe we can hit the midway! :)

Sick Little Boy

We have been so lucky that Cooper has really not been sick at all (except for an occasional cold) until this past weekend. Unfortunately, he was bit by the stomach bug and hit with a yucky cold all at the same time. We have been spending many days at home doing a whole lot of cuddling and reading. Luckily, he is on the mend and returning to his normal active (and sleeping) self!
He did get to have his first popsicle/fruit bar!

Hiding Out

Cooper loves hiding! He goes in his hiding spots and just sits there without making a sound. He thinks it is so funny when we find him! Here are a few of his favorite places to hide!

His Tent

His Tunnel

Under Daddy's desk

And in the blanket forts his daddy makes for him (he loves these most of all!)

Cotton Bowl

This weekend we took Cooper to his first Aggie game! Unfortunately, we lost pretty bad, but we had a good time anyway! We were so lucky to get to watch the game in a suite. Cooper thought we were all crazy with all of our yelling! :) It was so nice that Cooper had room to run around and play. We were so thankful his sweet cousins, Meghan and Kate, were there to entertain him! My pics aren't that great, but here they are anyway.

So Thankful!

Just wanted to say a huge "THANK YOU" to my parents for coming to my rescue this past week. I got sick with a virus while Chad was out of town working. They answered my 5:30 am call, and swooped into action! I am so thankful that they were willing to drop everything to come take care of (and spoil) me and Cooper. We would have never made it without them!

Thanks Grandmommy and PaPa! We love you!
