Baby Jackson's Shower

This past weekend we celebrated the upcoming arrival of our new nephew/cousin, Jackson.  We are so excited for Cooper to have a boy cousin! Here are some pics from our fun day!

Yummy key lime pie cupcakes!

Diaper golf bag

This was a station for guests to write funny messages on diapers for Kent and Courtney to use during late night diaper changes.  So cute!

Courtney, the mama to be!
The hostesses

Kristen, me, and Hadley

Was so fun having Hadley there for a girly day! Can't wait until she is old enough to enjoy more girly events!

Hadley and her new friend. :)

Courtney got lots of great things for baby Jackson.  Now all we need is baby!

We got to have Grandmommy, PaPa, Meghan, and Kate spend the night with us after the shower.  Cooper and Hadley LOVED having some fun cousin time.  They played and played and played.

(In case you are wondering, Kool-Aid does dye your hair.  Kate tried it at a friend's house! ;)

Hadley loves her Meghan

Just had to include this.  She is a mess.

15 Months Old

This precious angel is 15 months old!  It seems like Hadley is turning into more of a little girl and less of a baby every day.  She is talking all the time, although Chad and I might be the only ones that understand a lot of what she says. She says new words every day, and has begun to put two words together.  She is busy, busy, busy and thinks she is so big.  We are having so much fun!

Some funny things Hadley does right now:
*Holds and rocks her baby and says "Shhhhh..."
*Shakes her finger as in "no, no".  She mostly does this to Chad.  (yes, we realize this will not be so cute in a few months)
*Waves and says "Hi, bird" to every single bird she sees.
*Every morning when Cooper wakes up and we go in his room, she climbs on his bed, gives him a hug, and says "Hey, Bubba!"
*Says "Shew, shew" while I'm changing her diaper
*Loves the "Itsy, Bitsy Spider" and doing the hand motions.

Eating breakfast at the kid table.  She was SO proud of herself.

Dancing in the rain!

Playing baseball in the rain with brother.  She makes an excellent ball girl. :)

You brighten our days sweet Hadley!

10 year anniversary and Grandmommy & PaPa

This past weekend, Chad and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary!  Can't believe we have been married that long, but at the same time can't believe how our lives have changed since this picture!

We celebrated with a couple of nights at the Woodlands Resort while Grandmommy and PaPa watched the kids.  It was a nice, relaxing get away.  So thankful for Chad, and can't wait to see what the future holds for our family.
Meanwhile, while we were gone, the kids were having a ball!
PaPa took Cooper to a building class at Lowes.  He thought it was awesome.  Lowes is now his new favorite store. :)

We convinced Grandmommy to stay the week with us!  That means we had a full week of warm towels, lots of play time,  home cooked breakfast, empty laundry baskets, freshly ironed clothes, fun outings, free babysitting, and happy kiddos. :)  Thanks Grandmommy for a fun week!

Children's museum fun!

Cooper and Grandmommy ready to go to the movies!

4th of July Weekend

After picking Daddy up from the airport on Wednesday, we decided to have an impromptu trip to Lake Conroe.  We stayed at the La Torretta Lake Resort and had so much fun!
Eating dinner on the lake.  Cooper loved watching the boats come in.

The resort and view from our room!

They have multiple splash pads, pools, and even a lazy river.  It was perfect!

 Playing at the "beach"
Daddy and Cooper heading out for a ride in the kayak!

 My little firecrackers!

 Making smores!
 Yum!
Ready for fireworks! Ok, so maybe we didn't last too long watching the awesome fireworks, but we tried. :)
 Such a fun 4th!

Abilene Wedding

In early June, we took a trip to Abilene for my cousin Erin's wedding.  We took Cooper with us and left Hadley with MiMi and Grandad.  It was Cooper's first wedding, and he had a great time.  It was fun for he and Kate to have some time playing together.

Beautiful bride!

 Hitting the dance floor!
This video is super blurry for some reason, but it cracks me up.  I couldn't help but post.  Cooper was SO excited about dancing.  HA!

Cooper and Daddy also got to enjoy some Cross Cut time with Grandad while Hadley and I went shopping with Grandmommy, Kristen, and Courtney!
