First Ranger Game!

This week we decided to take one last little get away before football season begins. (Yes, since we don't have to worry about school yet, we plan our lives around football!!) We headed to Arlington to take the kids to their first Ranger's game.  Chad and I have many memories at the Ranger games and couldn't wait to take the kids.  In fact, I think Chad had been talking about it since the day we found out we were going to have a little boy.  We wanted to wait until Cooper was at an age when he could really enjoy it, and I'm pretty sure we succeeded.
We got into town a little early so we could fit in some last minute Ranger gear shopping and lunch at Pappasitos!

Next up we headed to the hotel for naps.

Then we geared up for the game!

The cutest Ranger fans around!

Not sure which one was more excited!

Hadley had a ball.  She actually sat in her seat for 3 whole innings!

Cooper had lots of questions, and loved it all!

The best part came when Daddy got this homerun ball for Cooper! Chad Cooper was so excited and proud!  It was so sweet, because Cooper was immediately worried that the players wouldn't be able to finish the game since he had the ball.  We assured him there were many more baseballs they could use. :)

Last stop...the gift shop! They were both thrilled with the souvenirs they picked out!

After a great night of sleep in the hotel (they both slept until 7:30, which is unheard of in a hotel for us!), and a yummy breakfast we headed home.  We are already looking forward to our next Ranger game, but until then....bring on some AGGIE FOOTBALL!

Coop's 4 year old stats and Hadley's Pig Tails!!!

Cooper went for his 4 year well check this week!  I am honestly not sure which is worse, taking an innocent, unsuspecting infant for shots, or a brave 4 year old that knows what is coming.  Either way shots are no fun at all!  At 4 years old, he weighs 40 pounds and is 42 inches tall!  He is healthy and perfect and we are so thankful!  He is growing up to be such a handsome and sweet boy.  So proud of him!
I did a little yearly interview I found on Pinterest to put in his baby book.  I think it will be so fun to see how his answers change over the years!

And just take a look at Hadley's first pigtails!  I mean, are they not the cutest thing you have ever seen.  My friend told me little girls can do no wrong with pigtails and I am finding that to be oh so true!  It doesn't help that Cooper is constantly saying, "Oh Hadley girl, I love your new pig tails."  Melt my heart.... Oh, and she thinks they are quite fabulous too! :)
