End of Year Weekday School Celebration

Cooper finished up Weekday school at Central Baptist last week!  He has had such a great year.  We were so blessed with two wonderful teachers and a class full of great friends for him.  He loved going every day and learned a lot! They had an end of the year program on Wednesday.  The kids sang a few songs and quoted a bible verse.  They also presented each child with a Godly trait.  It was so neat to see what the teacher had picked for each child.  Cooper was given "Goodness" which we thought described him perfectly.  It makes me cry every time I think about it.  What more could a parent want?  We are so blessed by our sweet boy.

Bring on SUMMER!!!!

Cooper's teachers made a personalized scrapbook for each child. (I told you they were awesome!)  We loved getting to see Cooper in action.  What a treasure!  Here are a few pages.

Daddy Daughter Dance 2014

This year Chad and Hadley attended their very first (and certainly not the last) Daddy Daughter Dance at our church.  It is such a special time for the little girls and their dads.  We could hardly wait for Hadley to go, and she was pretty excited about it too! I took her to the store and let her pick out her own dress.  She was very sure that this was the perfect dress for her date with Daddy.

Getting warmed up!

I got to have a pretty special date with Cooper too! He was so sweet.  While Chad and Hadley were getting dressed, he went into his room and got all dressed up in his long sleeve shirt, shorts, boots, belt, and cowboy hat.  He even combed his hair.  He came out and said,  "Mom I'm ready for our date!" One of my best mommy moments ever!  He even paid for my meal and our movie.  It was a great night!

I had to include this picture because Hadley's face in the background cracked me up.  Somebody doesn't like sharing the spotlight!

Chad took this video at the dance.  He said Hadley jumped and danced and spun around until she was worn out.  They had such a fun time.  There was a candy bar, ice cream sundaes, a sword entrance with the Ross Volunteers, and wonderful decorations.  I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall.
So thankful my kids have such a special Daddy that will do anything he can to make them feel special!
