Jackson turns ONE!

This weekend we headed to Conroe to celebrate sweet cousin Jackson's first birthday! In true laid back Jackson style, he was the perfect birthday boy!  He is always so content and happy.  Such a joy!

Cooper and Hadley took turns pushing Jackson on his new tricycle

Going for a walk in his new wagon! Can you tell that Cooper is pretty fond of his only boy cousin? They are big buddies!

Happy boy ready for cake!!!

This was the most leisurely eaten smash cake I have ever seen! HA!

He kept looking at us like, "Is this what y'all want me to do?"

These two on the other hand were not so polite eating their cupcakes! :)

Jackson was so sweet opening his presents.  He just smiled and smiled.

We got to see Meghan and Kate for a little while too! All the cousins in their Aggie gear!

Thanks for having us Kent and Courtney everything was perfect!

Hadley's First Aggie Game (kind of)

Yay!  It's football season!  We were so excited to go to the first game at the semi renovated Kyle Field!  Since the game was at 6:00, we thought it would be the perfect chance to take the kids.  This was Hadley's first time to go to an actual game.  (However, she has been to many, many pregame events and scrimmages.) Everything was going great.  We had some time for a little tailgating with MiMi and Grandad, band watching, and sight seeing before heading to our seats. The kids were super excited to see all the pregame action and the team entrance.  I was feeling hopeful we would make it until halftime.  Then....there was a lightning delay. So, we enjoyed some chick fil a, ran up and down the stadium ramps for a little while, and headed for home.  The kids had a ball even though we didn't even make it until kick off! Ha!  Maybe next time we can see an actual game.

We even got to see Kent, Courtney, and Jackson for a little bit before the game!
Both kids LOVED watching the band march in!

Pretending to take a little nap during the lightning delay.  Ha!

Pre-K!

Cooper started Pre-K at a new school this year! He will be going half days for 4 days a week.  He has two fabulous teachers and some friends he already knows in his class.  He is already off to a great start!
Ready for "Meet the Teacher." (It was also Aggie game day!)  Cooper's teachers took the time to come to our house and visit with him a few days before, so we just went mainly to see his classroom and meet some new friends!
First day pics!  He was so excited and brave.  He didn't act a bit nervous.  I was so proud of him, but I sure will miss having him home with me all day.

Sweet Little Miss is staying home with me for one more year.  We are going to enjoy some girl time!
