First Aggie Yell Practice

This week we took Cooper and Hadley to their very first Fightin' Texas Aggie Yell Practice.  Most of you know that these are typically held at midnight. (No way that is happening for us in this stage of life!) So, we were more than excited to hear there would be an early yell practice prior to the team leaving for LSU.  We jumped at the chance to take the kids, and had a great time.  Cooper LOVED every second of it.  He watched and listened to everything.  Hadley loved climbing up and down the bleachers and threw in a "whoop" every now and then.
We are still working on Hadley's "Gig'em" form, but she is getting the idea. :)

After yell practice, Chad and some of our friends took the kids down to try to give the players high fives.  Cooper scored Ben Malena and Mike Evan's gloves.  Talk about making a little boy's day!  I know a Daddy that was pretty excited himself. :)

The next day, Chad loaded up on a HUGE bus with 13 other guys and road tripped to the game.  I took the kids up to see the bus before they left.  It was a little too close quarters for me, but I'm sure the guys had a great time!
Fun Aggie memories being made!

Trick or Treat

We had so much fun trick or treating on the hayride last year, we decided to do it again!  We had such a great time!  This is definitely the way to go.  It is a lot harder to keep up each year as the kids get faster!  Pretty soon the parents will be riding on the hayride! :) We were so lucky that Grandmommy, Courtney, and baby Jackson made it just in time to do some trick or treating with us too!

Trick or treating with Ms. Lauren. :)

Yes!  A sucker!

Still holding that same sucker! HA!

We enjoyed taking turns on the golf cart too!

I barely got any pictures of Cooper because he was too fast.  I could barely keep up! (Oh, and he decided to add his fire fighter rain boots to his batman costume at the last minute. Ha!)

Festivals

Oh, how I love Fall Festival season!  We kicked off the Halloween festivities with our church fall festival.  Cooper (Batman) had so much fun with the games this year.  Hadley (Peacock) was quite content with her first ever lollipop (or any candy for that matter).  She just sat down right in the middle of the activity and licked away! :)

Next up, the Halloween event at the country club. We didn't do a good job of taking pics, but had a great time!
