Boston!

Chad and I recently got the chance to take a little vacation to Boston!  We had a WONDERFUL few days and really loved this city!  It seemed like a small town right in the middle of a big city.
The outside of our hotel

View from our hotel room.  The harbor was so peaceful and beautiful!
We thought this market was so interesting.  They had all kinds of fresh seafood, vegetables, and fruit!

The food in Boston was amazing.  We ate lobster in some form or fashion for almost every meal.  One of our favorite restaurants on the water, The Barking Crab.
Yummy lobster roll!
They also had the most AMAZING pastries I have ever seen.  We made a couple of stops at Mike's Pastry and had the best Boston cream pie ever!
I also had to get a cupcake from Wicked Good cupcakes because I remembered them from Shark Tank!
Chad and I were both super excited to visit Fenway Park as well.  Even though it was raining, we loved getting to be there and watch the Red Sox.  We had great seats and even got to see a bench clearing brawl.  Pretty exciting!

We walked and walked and walked trying to see all that we could.  Everything was just beautiful and interesting.

This was one of our favorite finds.  It is called Quincy Market and housed all types of restaurants.  It was right in the middle of an outdoor mall. There was always something interesting going on here.

We also had to make a stop by Cheers!

I loved walking around Boston Common.  It was really neat to see the swan boats from the children's book "Make Way for Ducklings."

One morning we went on a Segway tour.  We were not fans of the helmets, but oh well.  It was a great way to see the city in a short amount of time, and Chad has always wanted to ride a Segway.  I am happy to report that neither of us crashed or fell. :)
The highlight of the trip for me was heading to Foxboro for the George Strait concert.  Chad got me these tickets for Christmas and I was SOOOO excited to go!  It did not disappoint! We got to see Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and King George.  It was glorious! And, we had AMAZING seats.  Best gift ever!!!!

While we were gone, Mom and Dad took care of the kids in College Station.  They successfully spoiled them rotten! I knew they had been spoiled when they both asked for cook to order breakfast the first morning we were home. The kids had a great time, and weren't ready for them to leave.  Thanks Mom and Dad! These were some of the pictures they sent us!
