Thanksgiving 2013

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Abilene!  First up was the Chambers Thanksgiving!  On Wednesday night, MiMi and Grandad planned a pizza/movie party for all the grandkids while we all enjoyed a nice dinner out.   It was a treat for all of us!

On Thursday morning, Cassie and I ran the Abilene Turkey Trot.  It was a lot of fun and made us feel a little better about all the calories we were about to consume. (We may or may not have been beaten by a 4 year old, but we won't talk about that.)

We enjoyed a yummy lunch and enjoyed the day visiting and playing.

It's not Thanksgiving without a little football.
On Friday we headed over to Grandmommy and PaPa's for some more fun.  It was Kristen and Kent's year with the inlaws so Cooper and Hadley got plenty of attention being the only kids.  We had another great meal, the men played a little dominoes, and the women played one of Mom Mom's marble games.  We all laughed a lot!

That night Mom and I took on Dad and Chad in a couple of games of 42.  We had a lot of fun and each won a game.  Guess that means a rematch at Christmas!
On Saturday, Grandmommy and PaPa took us to Primetime!  We had never been and it was so much fun.  We all bowled, and the kids played lots of games.  Cooper and Chad even rode the Nascar ride.  We can't wait to go back for go carts and miniature golf when it is warmer!

Thanks everyone for such a wonderful few days.  We are so thankful for all of you!
