So Thankful!

We had a great Thanksgiving in Abilene. Such wonderful families, and SO much to be thankful for!

We began the week at the Chambers' house! So much fun with two little ones. I can't even imagine what it will be like next year with 4!

This is my favorite picture. HA! I think they are plotting their next plan of mischief.

Cooper taking CoCo for a walk. I'm pretty sure CoCo got a lot more attention than she would have liked.

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a little football!

Case and Chad even made Cooper and Madie homemade Aggie shirts for the game. Guess they didn't bring the Aggies very much luck.

Cooper giving Madie a little lesson on band marching.

Watching cartoons in the "tent" with MiMi!

Next, it was off to the Foster's! For some reason I barely got out my camera. Oops!

This was Kristen and Kent's Thanksgiving away, so Cooper enjoyed being the center of attention this trip! We sure did miss everyone! He insisted on wearing the hat.

Cooper and PaPa Martin playing with his book.

Grandmommy and PaPa gave Chad and I a night out, and took Cooper to Chuck E. Cheese. This is the picture they sent me. Not sure what happened to my parents, because I am very sure they would have NEVER allowed me to do this.

Reveille!

This past Saturday was the last A&M football game we will be attending for this season. Cooper was SO excited that he got to pet and take a picture with Reveille! We have been trying to catch up with her all season!

First Trip to the Dentist

Last week, Cooper took his first trip to the dentist. Before our trip, I called and talked to the receptionist about what we should expect so that I could prepare Cooper. I was so thankful when she told me that they had tvs with cartoons on the ceiling above each chair. So, I prepped Cooper and got him really excited about going. He was so ready! The only thing he was worried about was whether the dentist was a boy or a girl. Maybe we have been talking a little too much about the gender of the baby. HA!
We arrived in the waiting room, and all was good until we had to pass by an older boy getting work done with a loud machine. I saw a look of panic come over Cooper's face. Then, when we got to our room, they sadly informed us that the tv in that room was broken. :( It all went downhill from there. Luckily, it was just a quick brush and floride treatment and we were out of there. Needless to say, he is not too excited about going back, but guess we will try again in 6 months!

Shopping Trip 2011

Two weekends ago, I met up with Mom, Kristen, and Courtney for our annual Christmas shopping trip! This year we all met in Houston and had such a fun time! We started out at the Nutcracker Gift Market which was a overwhelming and fabulous all at once! The next day we hit up an outlet mall and the Galleria. On Sunday, we hit a few more stores before heading home. I think it is safe to say that our shopping was VERY successful, and the memories and laughs are priceless! Can't wait until Christmas!

New Adventures and a New Obsession

I thought I would do a little update on life here in College Station. Since we have been here we have ventured out and tried some new things. First of all, for the past couple of months, Cooper and I have been attending a Kindermusik class. It has been so much fun for both of us. We look forward to it each week! They don't allow cameras, but we have alot of fun dancing, singing, playing instruments, and reading stories!

We have also visited many new parks!

We have also found a great storytime at the local library. Cooper is still a great listener, but his favorite part is the bubbles at the end!

Ready to go to an A&M Equestrian show with Daddy! (he insisted on the hat and boots)

We have also found a church we really like. Cooper has not cried yet! YAY!

**On another note, Cooper is now potty trained (except at night)! Whoohoo!

Cooper has also moved on from his love of cooking. Though he does still play a more "normal" amount in his play kitchen. For the past few months, his new obsession has been drumming. He has been inspired by watching the Aggie band at all the football games, and loves to march and drum ALL the time. Every now and then he even recruits some more members to play in his band too. (There will be no videos of that though! Ha!)

Fall Festival and Trick or Treating!

Our Halloween fun started on Sunday with a Fall Festival at our church! Cooper had fun playing the games and seeing all the kids dressed up!

They even had a (very crowded) petting zoo!

Cooper got his first taste of cotton candy too!

On Monday night we headed out trick-or-treating in our neighborhood! Our sweet neighbor sent us this pic. Cooper insisted on riding his horse and carrying his candy bucket just like this the entire time!

We couldn't believe how big he was this year. After only a couple of houses, he learned to say "Trick or Treat!" and "Thank You!" each time. It was so cute. I think he would have trick or treated for hours if we would have let him. He LOVED it! He was very excited about his candy this year, especially the suckers! He had this one picked out from the second he got it. He would check to see if it was still in his bucket after each house.

Checking out the goods

Loving every minute with this sweet cowboy!
