Spring Break

We had a great Spring Break even though the weather was definitely not very springlike.
We started with a trip to Port Aransas!  We had intentions of staying several days, but ended up cutting our trip short because of the cold and rainy weather.  We did enjoy one fun day on the beach and hit up our usual spots in town.  We also had some up close encounters with the alligators!

Since we had to leave early, we decided to take our time on the way home and throw in a few surprises for the kids.  It ended up being the best part of the trip!  First, we stopped just outside of Port A to feed the seagulls.  Next, we hit up the little aquarium in Rockport.
We also stopped for ice cream and toured the zoo in Victoria.  It was a tiny zoo, but we loved it!

Back in College Station we enjoyed a fun week with no schedule!  We spent one day at the children's museum.

Then stopped by Cake Junkie for some yummy cake balls!
We also went to see the new Cinderella movie!
On the last day, we got really brave and went ice skating.  It started a little rough, but we had a blast!  They had big cones for the kids to hold onto and skate behind.   Hadley never could get her balance, so Chad had the great idea to put her skates on the cone.  He and I took turns pushing her around the ice.  She thought it was fantastic!
Loved having both kids home all day every day for an entire week!  We are ready for summer!!!
