A couple of weeks ago, we headed to DFW for the weekend to spend some family time and celebrate our almost 5 year old! We started with a trip to the horse races. The kids loved seeing the horses and getting to sit right beside the track.

We stayed at Cooper's favorite hotel right by Bass Pro Shop. There were tons of events going on, and Cooper got to go to a kids clinic and shoot a real BB gun. He thought it was awesome.
We had dinner at his favorite, Rainforest Café! We had them sing "Happy Birthday" to him and he got to have a huge volcano dessert!
We met up with Cassie, Mike, Madie, and Marlie for a trip to LEGOLAND! The kids had so much fun! I think Cooper could have stayed all day.

We planned to go to Pirate's Cove water park on Sunday. (The whole reason for this trip) However, we woke up to unexpected storms. We decided to drive toward home and stop at the Hawaiian Falls waterpark in Waco. It turned out to be perfect! We had a ton of fun with very few people! Such a fun family time!
