MiMi and Grandad got this lion toy for Cooper at Christmas. He has been having fun crawling behind it for awhile now, but he just started walking behind it this week!

Cooper and Jax

This weekend we had dinner with our friends Jeremy and Shelley and their boys Jax and Jake. Cooper had a great time playing with Jax and all of his fun toys.

He especially loved Jax's microphone stand and sandbox.

Cooper kept trying to dive into the sandbox head first, so I gave in and let him get completely inside.

Baby Jake was content to sleep through all the fun, but it won't be long until he's in on the action too! Thanks Jax for being such a good friend and sharing with Cooper!

Flower Photo Shoot...not so much

This morning was cool and cloudy. I thought it was a perfect chance to get some pictures of Cooper by the pretty flowers in our neighborhood. As you can see, the photo shoot didn't go quite as planned. Cooper HATED sitting in the grass. In fact he made sure the least amount of him possible was touching the ground. HA!

He finally got curious enough to acknowledge the flowers, but this is as good as it got! (1 finger only!)

Guess that's what I get for trying to take a picture of a boy in flowers. Lesson learned!

He was much more cooperative when the subject of attraction was the TV remote. He's such a boy! (Yes, he is standing without holding onto anything!)

Mother's Day Weekend

Water Fun!

Just thought I'd share how much this little boy loves water!

As soon as Cooper hears the water for his bath, he immediately crawls into the bathroom and peers into the tub to watch the water. I think it is the cutest thing!

Who knew a little water on the high chair tray could be so much fun?

This morning we played with some toys in a tub of water! Cooper thought it was fantastic!

Meeting Madie!

This weekend, Cooper FINALLY got to officially meet his new cousin Madie. We have been having to stay away because of Cooper's runny nose! He wasn't too sure what to think about that sweet little girl, but he was really fond of her pacifier! (I think he would like to get ahold of that big bow too!) Thank goodness Aunt Cassie has a fun dog for Cooper to attack instead.
