Cooper Turns 7!

I know I say it every year, but I REALLY cannot believe Cooper is 7 years old!  Where does the time go?  At seven, Cooper is growing into such a responsible and good young man.   He is the ultimate rule follower, but loves to have fun too.  He makes friends very easily and enjoys life.  He is almost always smiling.  He is just like his daddy and wakes up early every morning just happy to start the day.  We make him stay in his room until 7am.  So, at 7:01 he comes shooting out of his room ready for whatever the day will bring. :)  Cooper loves sports, especially baseball.  He has become quite the Astros fan this year.  He even chooses to watch Sports Center over cartoons on most days.  He loves to learn about sea animals, and will read anything he can find about sharks.  He loves to read and learn about the Bible and is always asking questions.  He has a sensitive heart and is VERY competitive.  We couldn't ask for a better son!  Can't wait to see what this year brings!  Happy birthday Coop!
Cooper had his birthday party at one of the city pools.  It was a lot of fun!

We continued our celebration by heading to La Toretta! We had a fun family weekend once the rain finally stopped!

Summer Kick off in Port A

As soon as school was out, we packed up and headed to Port Aransas to kick off summer!

Such a fun trip!

End of Year Programs

Both kids had end of the year programs to celebrate their year!  So proud of all they have learned!

Field Trips, Field day, and Messy Fun Day

The end of the school year brought lots of fun activities for the kids!  Cooper's class had field trips to the Oil Ranch and the community swimming pool as well as Field Day!  Hadley's class had "Messy Fun Day" and an ice cream party!

Mother's Day

This year I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  Cooper's school had the sweetest "Muffins with Mom" morning.  He was so excited to serve me and give me my gifts.  Such a sweet boy.

Cooper made a book about me that said my favorite song is the "Whip and Nae Nae" HaHa!

So blessed to be a mom to these sweet kiddos.
