Kanakuk Kampout

During the first week in June, Cooper attended the Kanakuk Kampout day camp here in College Station.  He got to do so many fun activities like zip lining, climbing rock walls, water slides, dodge ball, archery, and so many more.  He had wonderful counselors and got to experience it all with several of his good friends.  I am so impressed with all he learned about God and faith.  He came home with lots of great questions.  We were able to have some great discussions with him.

During camp each day one boy and one girl were chosen for the Bumblebee award.  Cooper earned this award one day and was super excited.  His counselor told me it was the highest award they give out at camp.  It is for having a good attitude and always doing his best.  So proud of this sweet boy.
On the last day each camper was given an award and a character quality.  Cooper was awarded with the 110% Award and the Loyal Listener quality.

He can't wait to go back next year!

End of School and Pre-K Graduation

Cooper finished up his last year of Pre-School with a lot of fun activities.
His teacher was so sweet to let him celebrate his birthday early so he could do all the fun special school birthday activities.  He took donuts with icing and sprinkles for his class!

Hadley and I joined his class for their end of school party.  We brought pizza and popsicles to help them celebrate!

Ready for his last day of school!

We are so glad that several of Cooper's classmates will be going to the same elementary school with him next year.  It will be nice to have some familiar faces!

So proud of our soon to be Kindergartener!

Ballet 2015

Our little ballerina had a great first year of dance!  She was such a good listener and did a great job following her teacher's instructions.  We love that her studio is a Christian based studio where they dance to Christian music and learn bible verses and Christian principles along with dance.  She was super excited and brave for her recital day. She showed her stuff and didn't miss a beat! Way to go Hadley!

Dress rehearsal pics (We weren't allowed to take pictures during the actual performance.) Hadley is the second one from the left.

Coloring before the real recital!
She was so proud of her flowers and insisted on carrying them all herself!

She loved having everyone here to watch her performance.  Thanks for coming everybody!

Cooper's First Year of T-ball

Cooper played his first year of T-ball this year!  He played for the A's and Chad was his coach.  We couldn't have asked for a better season for Cooper (except for the number of games that were cancelled due to rain)!  He LOVED every second of it, and really is a great ball player!  He played all the positions, but 1st and 3rd base were his favorite.  I was so proud of his determination to do his best.  Chad did a great job coaching as well.  The team really improved throughout the season!

Daddy Daughter Dance 2015

Chad and Hadley had a great time at the Daddy Daughter dance at our church again this year! On this day Chad drove in from a Wedding rehearsal in Frisco, coached Cooper's baseball game, then came home changed clothes and took Hadley to the dance.  We are so blessed to have Chad that always puts his family first, even when he has a million things going on. Hadley looks forward to this every year and loves to look at the pictures all year long.  Such a special time with her daddy.  Chad said she just held his hands and jumped up and down the entire time they were there.

Ready to go!

Hadley is 3!

At 3 years old, Hadley is the most perfect mix of sweetness and silliness.  She is so much fun to be around and is always making us laugh.  She is so giving and is always willing to share, but she can definitely hold her own with her big brother.  She LOVES her babies, princesses, and all things girly.  She has a wonderful imagination, and is really good at playing on her own.  She eats just about any type of food and loves vegetables! She has an excellent vocabulary and is always surprising me with the things she says and understands.  She is so easy to love!  Hadley weighs 28 pounds and is 37 1/2 inches tall.
We had the best day celebrating our favorite 3 year old!  We started off with a few presents of course.
A new bike complete with a royal doll seat on the back! Unfortunately, it was raining so she didn't get to ride it!

Then, it was off to Shipley's for some birthday donuts!

Next, we took Cooper to school for a little while and then came home and played with some new toys.  We picked Cooper up early and met Daddy at Chick fil A for lunch and milkshakes!
Then we headed to the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco.  This is one of our favorite zoos.  It wasn't crowded at all, and we had a great time!
Yes, she is wearing Frozen Crocs thanks to her Aunt Kristen.  Lucky for me she never wants to take them off. Haha!

This slide has otters swimming all around!

We ended the day with some Mexican food by the lake!
A little tortilla for the road.  Doesn't get much better than that!
