Maroon and White Game

This weekend we loaded up the family and went to campus for the Maroon and White game.  It was perfect weather and a really fun day at Kyle Field!

Our little Aggies
Cooper and Daddy watching the band march in!
We also took the opportunity to get our picture taken with the Heisman (even though they added the cheesy background)!  Cooper thought it was pretty cool.

We were very happy to see our buddies the Hindes there too!
The Coopers love Johnny Football!  Hadley, on the other hand, was only interested in climbing the bleachers and finding dropped popcorn, rocks, and anything else she could get her hands on to eat.  She and I headed over to do some shopping at the Aggie Mom's sale in the MSC.  Worked out great for everyone! :)
Hadley's first steps on Kyle Field!

Cooper's a pro at this pose by now.
Such a fun Aggie day!

Fire Station Fun

Last week, our playgroup took a tour of the new fire station in town.  Cooper absolutely loved every second of it!  Hadley had a great time exploring and trying to be one of the big kids. ;)

Hadley insisted on sitting on the fire truck like the big kids.

Cooper was SO excited to get a College Station Fire Dept. hat.

Easter Weekend

This year we decided to stay in College Station to celebrate Easter.  Chad has been traveling a lot, so it was nice just to be home and enjoy some family time.  We stayed busy, and had lots of fun!
On Saturday morning, we went to the "Egg-stravaganza brunch at Pebble Creek.  We had such a nice morning enjoying the nice weather.
Getting last minute instructions from Daddy. :)

He's off!
Watching the bunny sack races with Daddy

Decorating Easter Eggs!
Cooper worked so hard and really enjoyed decorating this year.
Hadley did a great job!  I really didn't expect her to be able to do it, but she loved it!

(notice the egg in the back right corner...that is Daddy's signature brown egg.  HA!)

The Easter Bunny Came!

Already snacking on some yogurt melts from her eggs.

The Golden Egg!
Putting his money straight into his piggy bank.  He definitely got that from his Daddy! :)
Bunny Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast.

Ready to worship our risen Savior!
These pictures melt my heart!

On Easter afternoon, we had Resurrection Rolls for snack.  Basically, you cook a marshmallow (Jesus) inside of a crescent and when you take them out of the oven the marshmallow is gone.   I saw the idea online.  It was a fun concept, and pretty yummy too.  Cooper has been asking for more Jesus rolls ever since!  HA!

 Looking inside...
The tomb was empty!  He is risen!

Pre Easter Fun!

The week before Easter was filled with lots of fun activities!  We started with fun with friends on Palm Sunday.  We cooked out, had an egg hunt, played on the playground, and Cooper even got to ride the gator around the land!
The first round of kids lining up!  (Cooper and Emma were holding hands.  So cute.)

Hadley loves walking to Ms. Whitney!

On Wednesday, Hadley and I went to watch Cooper hunt eggs at Mother's Day Out.  He did a great job.  It is so fun to see him interact with his little class.
