Go Mustangs!

Well, our first sports season has officially begun!  Cooper is playing soccer!  We are all so excited about his new adventure.  Cooper is loving every minute.  He grinned from ear to ear through the entire practice and game.  Now, if we could just get him interested in actually kicking the ball rather than just following it and everyone else around. Ha!
Meet the team night!  Cooper was thrilled to find out that he would be on the Mustangs!

Ready for his first practice! (It also happened to be St.Patrick's day)
He insisted on this fake action shot. Ha!
The Mighty Mustangs!
Stretching
Warming up
Ready for his first game! They tied 3-3 (even though we don't keep score. ;)

Little Miss loves watching her brother play soccer.  She loves to sit in her chair and yell "Go Cooper Go!"

So proud of our little man!
**As a side note, Chad and I have a new appreciation for all those years our parents (and grandparents) endured our sporting events.  It is not for the faint of heart.

Spring Break Part 2~ Stock Show

When we got back from Port A, Grandmommy was in town to keep Jackson.  We loved getting to spend time with both of them.  Jackson had two very willing "babysitters".

Later in the week we headed to Houston to stay in a hotel and go to the stock show.  We had such a fun time just spending some time as a family.

Saturday was a cold and windy day so we set up a tent in the living room, made our own pizzas, and watched a movie.  Fun memories!

Spring Break Part 1~ Port A

We were so excited to get to spend the first part of Spring Break in Port Aransas.  We FINALLY got a chance to see all the renovations to MiMi and Grandad's condo.  It was amazing.  We had a great time even though the weather was a little too chilly for any beach time.
Beach Bound!
We made a random pit stop at a model airplane museum in Schulenburg.  Hadley has been getting carsick, so we decided to try and make more stops.  The entertainment here lasted about 5 minutes for us.  ;)
They did get these cool airplanes to take home.  In case you were wondering... both were completely destroyed within 24 hours.

After we arrived and got a good look at all the cool details in the condo, we wasted no time and headed straight for the candy store!

Next up, we headed to search for the famous alligator that Chad swore didn't exist but everyone else has seen.
It was our lucky day, because we saw two huge alligators!
Then we headed to watch the dolphins and play at the park!

The next morning we started with a little breakfast on the saddle.
And this beautiful view
Daddy took the kids to the hot tub since they were determined to "swim".
We spent most of the day Saturday in Rockport at Oysterfest! It was a lot of fun with some yummy food!
Ready for the parade!  Hadley slept through the first part of the parade (firetruck sirens and all)!  We collected enough necklaces and candy to last a lifetime!

Daddy and Grandad enjoying some oysters
Hadley preferred the corn on the cob!

Both kids ate a ton of fish

It's not a trip to the beach without feeding the seagulls and taking a picture inside the shark's mouth.

Thanks MiMi and Grandad!  We had so much fun and are already ready to come back!
